Activism & Artistic integrity

Firmly rooted in their identity as a queer, nonbinary, and anti-Zionist Jewish artist and activist, Jodoh draws inspiration from the powerful legacies of those who paved the way before them. Their practice is grounded in a deep commitment to building intersectional communities and advocating for the rights and dignity of marginalized peoples. Jodoh believes that this vital work must be centered in all spaces—artistic, institutional, and public alike.

From participating in Black Lives Matter protests, honoring the lives of murdered trans siblings, to the on-going development of “sanctuary sculptures” that combat hostile architecture, Jodoh’s work is a dynamic intersection of activism and art. Their ongoing advocacy includes the liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Ethiopia, Haiti, Cambodia, Turtle Island, and all colonized nations. Through a multidisciplinary approach, they remain deeply committed to amplifying underrepresented voices, confronting systemic oppression, and fostering meaningful change both locally and globally.
